Oceans

A shiny surfboard pushes against the choppy waves. There are 5 oceans. The Atlantic, Pacific, Indian, Arctic, and Southern or Antarctic ocean. An ocean is a large body of water that covers 71 percent of the Earth.
These amazing oceans were formed at the beginning of time maybe even before the first continent!
A specific example of an ocean is the Atlantic Ocean. This wet, salty, and large ocean is near America and South America. This ocean also has historical facts, like the pilgrims sailed the mayflower bravely over the Atlantic Ocean for their freedom and to practice their own religion. Also, Christopher Columbus sailed to America in 1492 or a way I remember is Columbus sailed the ocean blue in 1492. The Atlantic Ocean is the second largest ocean.
Some interesting facts are the Atlantic Ocean is one place most Americans on the East like to go in the summer. Many Americans animals we haven’t discovered yet live in the ocean. Some animals that live in the ocean are the starfish, octopi, sharks, dolphins, crabs and many more sea creatures!
In Florida and places near the ocean, surfing, boogie boarding, and many more things are very popular. Many people have summer homes near the ocean so instead of trying to find park,[which is nearly imposable at our beach.] you can just walk outside and enjoy the sunshine!
In conclusion, the ocean is a place to say surfs up!, and a place where to find the mysterious unknown.
